Golf: Prints of Hayling Island and Minchinhampton

Two period-style Golf prints: golf on Hayling Island, the links among the dunes at the mouth of Chichester Harbour, and golf on Minchinhampton Common high in the Cotswolds. About 33 x 23 cm, printed on fade-resistant paper, eighteen pounds each.

Golf is a small section of two prints, both charming period-style golf scenes, and both set on courses with a long history.

Hayling Island golf club sits among the dunes at the mouth of Chichester Harbour on the Hampshire coast, and it is one of the oldest seaside links in the south of England. Minchinhampton Common, high on the Cotswolds above Stroud in Gloucestershire, is common land where golf has been played alongside grazing cattle for well over a century.

Both prints are by an unknown artist, digitally reproduced from the original design and printed on fade-resistant paper with fade-resistant inks. The image is about 33 x 23 cm before mounting, which makes them a good size for a study, a clubhouse or a golfer's hallway.

Each print is eighteen pounds, and they make a sensible gift for someone who plays either course. If you are after a particular course or golfing scene, ask us - we have been selling prints for over twenty years and we are happy to check what else we can find.
