Derbyshire has two prints by two different artists, both from the eastern side of the county.

Tissington is a Philip and Glyn Martin limited edition. The estate village near Ashbourne is known for its green, its hall and its well dressing, and it is one of the prettiest villages on the edge of the Peak District. Philip and Glyn Martin print strictly limited editions, individually numbered out of 850 and hand signed, and each original watercolour is used for one edition only.

Hardwick Old Hall, near Chesterfield, is by John Bird. Bess of Hardwick transformed the house in the sixteenth century before building the new hall beside it, and the ruin is one of the great sights of the county. John Bird is a Doncaster-born artist who has painted for English Heritage, the National Trust and the English Tourist Board. His prints are around 41 x 28 cm and each one is signed and titled by hand.

Tissington is £29.95 and Hardwick Old Hall is eighteen pounds. Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire are the neighbouring sections. If the place you are looking for is not here, ask us - we are a small family business and we are happy to check.
