Norfolk has two Martin Goode watercolours, both from the north coast.
Wells-next-the-Sea is the small harbour town with its quay, its granary and the long walk out to the beach through the pines. Burnham Overy is a few miles west along the same coast, one of the cluster of Burnham villages, and the print is of one of the village's cottages.
Martin Goode was known for his attention to detail and his carefully constructed compositions, and his prints are small - around 15 x 10 cm or 20 x 13 cm before mounting - so they suit a standard off-the-shelf mount and frame.
Wells-next-the-Sea is eleven pounds and the Burnham Overy cottage, the larger 20 x 13 cm size, is fourteen. For more of East Anglia, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire have their own sections, and Lincolnshire lies across the Wash.
