Former royal residence was a summer home and rural retreat for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. According to her journals wandered through the grounds every day even in the bad weather. And when the weather was fine they spent many hours eating and relaxing on the terrace. Each print is signed and titled personally by John. About the artist John Bird
John is a Doncaster born artist, who as well as painting many scenes of his home town and county has travelled all over Britain painting scenes of town and places. John has a collection of paintings of animals, his other passion. He paints for English Heritage, The English Tourist Board, The National Trust and the Wild Life Trust. A piece of his work was presented to the Governor of Hong Kong.
