Very rarely do I work from photographs that are not my own and this is one of those exceptions. I decided that the pose of this Basset Hound could not be bettered and contacted the owner in Germany. The dog's name was, as I recall, 'Red Admiral' and I was delighted when his owner gave me his permission to use his photograph. The drawing took approximately 78 hours to complete.
Fantastic detail in this brand new and official print, which has never been put on a wall. Every hair on the dog seems to have been drawn About the artist Mike Sibley.
