Giclee print of a beautiful pencil drawing of the ever loyal West Highland Terrier. This delightful terrier belonged to someone we knew when we lived in Harrogate, and I'm very pleased they allowed me to photograph it. For me, it embodies everything I love about the breed. Despite the many claims of difficulty about drawing a white dog on white paper, it is actually the easiest... once you get used to drawing the shadows and not the hairs! The drawing took approximately 65 hours to complete. Fantastic detail in this brand new and official print, which has never been put on a wall. Every hair on the dog seems to have been drawn.

About the artist Mike Sibley

After leaving Leeds College of Art in 1970 he met his wife Jenny who bred and exhibited horses and animals. It was this that turned his talents in that direction. A professional artist now for over twenty years, he often spends over two hundred hours on a single drawing. Mike's work is special in its fine detail. The only tool for this is the pencil. He doesn't like colour, he says colour gets in the way. Mike's art sells in many countries including America, Australia and Scandinavia. His first limited edition print, an edition of fifty Irish Water Spaniel prints, sold out at its Crufts release in just three and a half hours.
