Giclee print of a beautiful pencil drawing of the ever loyal Afghan Hound We have a very good friend in Harrogate who is owned by this breed. Although I didn't know the Afghan breed well, we owned Borzois at that time, so I had a good idea of what I was looking for. In this dog I found everything I needed - especially a dog that just said "I am an Afghan Hound". 

The drawing took approximately 80 hours to complete. Fantastic detail in this brand new and official print, which has never been put on a wall. Every hair on the dog seems to have been drawn 

About the artist Mike Sibley 

After leaving Leeds College of Art in 1970 he met his wife Jenny who bred and exhibited horses and animals. It was this that turned his talents in that direction. A professional artist now for over twenty years, he often spends over two hundred hours on a single drawing. Mike's work is special in its fine detail. The only tool for this is the pencil. He doesn't like colour, he says colour gets in the way. Mike's art sells in many countries including America, Australia and Scandinavia. His first limited edition print, an edition of fifty Irish Water Spaniel prints, sold out at its Crufts release in just three and a half hours.
