London: Prints of Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Greenwich

London has five prints by three artists, and between them they cover the river from Westminster to Greenwich.

John Bird painted the two most famous views: the Houses of Parliament with the Elizabeth Tower, better known as Big Ben, and Tower Bridge, the most spectacular of the Thames bridges. John Bird is a Doncaster-born artist who has painted for English Heritage, the National Trust and the English Tourist Board. His prints are around 41 x 28 cm and each one is signed and titled by hand.

Martin Goode painted the White Tower, the oldest part of the Tower of London, and the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich, Wren's great riverside composition. Martin Goode was known for his attention to detail and his carefully constructed compositions, and his prints are small - around 15 x 10 cm or 20 x 13 cm before mounting - so they suit a standard off-the-shelf mount and frame.

Philip and Glyn Martin's print is the Prospect of Whitby at Wapping, one of the oldest riverside pubs in London. Philip and Glyn Martin print strictly limited editions, individually numbered out of 850 and hand signed, and each original watercolour is used for one edition only.

Prices run from fourteen pounds for the Goode prints to eighteen for the John Bird and £29.95 for the Martin edition. Middlesex, Surrey and Kent each have their own sections for places just outside the capital.
