Fantastic print of the Houses of Parliament and the Elizabeth Tower, nick named Big Ben. Housing the House of Commons and the House of Lords. in 1834 most of the original Parliament was burnt down. Charles Barry designed the preset gothic building, and much of it's intricate detail was entrusted to Augustus Pugin. Each print is signed and titled personally by John. About the artist John Bird
John is a Doncaster born artist, who as well as painting many scenes of his home town and county has travelled all over Britain painting scenes of town and places. John has a collection of paintings of animals, his other passion. He paints for English Heritage, The English Tourist Board, The National Trust and the Wild Life Trust. A piece of his work was presented to the Governor of Hong Kong.
